Feature Release: Faster, Easier Onsite Waivers with Booking QR Codes

Managing large groups and walk-in guests just got even easier! We’re excited to announce a new feature that streamlines the waiver process for booked guests onsite—QR Codes integrated directly with your booking system.

This new update is designed to enhance the guest experience while ensuring your waivers are correctly matched to their booking data, all in a matter of seconds.

Efficient Waiver Collection for Groups and Walk-Ins

Gone are the days of asking guests to dig through their emails or scramble to find their waiver link. Now, when a group or individual walks in without having completed their waiver, you can simply display a QR code for their booking. Guests scan the code with their own devices and access the waiver instantly—no need for hassle or delays. This makes the process especially smooth for larger groups, as multiple people from the same booking can scan and complete their waivers at the same time.

Seamless Booking Integration

The QR code isn’t just a shortcut—it’s a smarter way to ensure accuracy. Each waiver is directly tied to the guest’s booking data, meaning the waiver they complete is automatically associated with the correct activity or experience they booked. This eliminates any potential confusion and ensures that the right waiver is signed for the right activity.

Two-Way Integration with Reservation Systems

If your reservation system supports two-way integration, this feature takes things a step further. Once a guest completes their waiver, it’s immediately shared back to the reservation system. This keeps your booking records up to date and ensures your entire process is seamless from booking to waiver to activity. No manual input or follow-up is needed!

How It Works

Here’s how easy it is to use the new Booking QR Code feature:

  1. Open the Waiver App in Operator Mode – Use your device to access the app and navigate to the “Bookings” tab in the Daily Overview.
  2. Select the Booking – Find the group or individual booking you need, and head to the “Booking Guest List” page.
  3. Display the QR Code – Under “Booking Actions,” select “View booking QR code” and display it on your device. Your guests can scan this from their own phones.
  4. Complete the Waivers – The guests will be directed to the relevant waiver based on their booking details, speeding up the entire process.

This feature is a game-changer for operators who regularly deal with large groups or last-minute walk-ins.

By allowing multiple guests to scan and complete their waivers simultaneously, you can serve groups more efficiently, reduce onsite delays, and eliminate errors caused by mismatched waivers. Plus, with the booking integration ensuring each waiver is linked to the correct reservation, you can rest easy knowing that all legal documentation is accurate and up-to-date.

No booking? No problem!
