Research Target Markets in Your Wherewolf Analytics!

The holiday season is right around the corner, and your customers are looking for ways to celebrate!

Wherewolf users will be able to dive into their guest data from this time last year to gather some exceptional insights that will give you some fun, creative ways to tackle the festive season. Let’s recap on how to use your Wherewolf database. There will be more articles coming on how to set up email marketing, as well as other ways to use your data on social media, Facebook Ads, and Google – but for now, let’s cover the basics.

  1. Open your Wherewolf Analytics
Go to the ‘Analytics’ tab, under Discover on your dashboard

  1. Select a date range
We’ve selected November 20th to January 20th, but you can customise this to suit your preferences.

  1. Click Get Guests
This will open up your graphs and reports – where all the fun starts!

Two Easy Things To Look For:

The first thing we’re going to do is collect some basic demographic data. We always recommend asking guests the Wherewolf pre-set questions like “Where are you from?”, “Please select your gender”, “Please enter your date of birth” (or “Please select your age range”), and “What type of event brought you in today?”.

These 3 or 4 key points are going to give you the information you need to start developing your target markets for this type of year! You can see from our data here that our best demographics are people around late 20s to early 30s, with a fairly even split between genders.

  • Next we will evaluate which activities, times, and dates are most popular. Do you need to prepare for a lot of walk-in guests over certain days or times? Are some activities more popular than others?

2 Easy Ways To Use It:

  • Email remarketing

You can use an integrated platform like Mailchimp, an unintegrated email marketing software, or even a free software like GMass to send emails to your previous customers with new updates or promotions. For example, this demo business may wish to send a special offer to all last season’s zipliners, and invite them to try the Escape Room this year.

  • Google/Facebook Ads

Your Wherewolf data can help you find more people in Google and Facebook by targeting your key demographics or using Lookalike Audiences. You can analyse your reports to find the perfect customers for you, and find even more people just like them who would love your experiences.
